Import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to Seychelles decreases in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that compared with the prior year construction equipment import decreased by 15.47%. The indicator diminished by 5 902 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 31.54 percent. Seychelles saw a raise of 2 299.85% in construction equipment import during the last 23 years. However, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.45% during the last five years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 292 087.48 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 3 076 393 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 1 313 kilogram in 1995.
