Export of fresh or chilled whole dogfish and other sharks from India goes up in 2016

Dogfish export grew greatly by 440.94% in 2016, adjusted figures from United Nations Statistical Office display. The variable sharply rose by 3 016 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 635.48 percent. The overall changes for the prior 24 years reached a raise of 200.32%. Furthermore, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 2.41% during the last five years with a slight overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 15 640.79 US Dollar from 1993 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 133 225 US Dollar in 2006 and record low of 93 US Dollar in 2014.
