Import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to Brazil: Drop in 2016

Compared to the previous year the indicator sharply went down by 31.81%, according to new statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. Construction equipment import diminished strongly by 568 814 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 5.17%. Brazil saw a rise of 4 618.02% in construction equipment import during the last 28 years. Though, it has attained a decline at a 0.1 percent average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 934 160.89 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 2 431 667 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 25 850 kilogram in 1989.
