Export of knotted netting, nets of natural materials from Colombia declines in 2016

In comparison with the year before textile export fell sharply by 84.4%, according to updated figures announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Textile export greatly diminished from 7 058 US Dollar in 2015 to 1 101 US Dollar prior year, in comparison to the previous year when it increased by 371.79%. Colombia saw a decrease of 99.8% in textile export over the past 26 years. Moreover, it has shown a fall at a 0.22 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 52 687.92 US Dollar from 1991 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 538 304 US Dollar in 1991 and record low of 30 US Dollar in 2007.
