Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Czech Republic: Decrease in 2016

Yarn import declined by 7.09 percent in 2016, new data from European Commission constitute. Yarn import fell by 69 300 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 4.28%. It's the lowest level on record since 2003. The overall changes for the previous 14 years attained a decline of 51.89%. Likewise, it has attained a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.04% over the five years with a modest overall drop since the 2003. It averaged 1 452 807.14 kilogram from 2003 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 2 143 300 kilogram in 2007.
