Fuel oil demand in Italy: Raise in June 2018

According to numbers released by JODI Data, the indicator grew by 8.31 percent in comparison to the previous month. Fuel oil demand went up from 73.45 thousand barrels per day to 79.55 thousand barrels per day, compared with the prior month when it fell by 4.84 percent. In June of the year before, the variable climbed by 4.28 percent and hit 71.17 thousand barrels per day. In short, the indicator was 11.78 percent larger in June 2017 than in June 2018. The overall changes for the previous 16 years reached a fall of 84.19%. As well as the fuel oil demand is now smaller than its average which equals 191.85 thousand barrels per day with a moderate overall drop since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 559.31 thousand barrels per day in February 2002 and record low of 53.53 thousand barrels per day in April 2014.
