Import of frozen bone-in bovine cuts to Romania climbs in 2017

According to new figures released by United Nations Statistical Office, in 2017 cattle import went up by 26.42 percent. Cattle import climbed from 1 528 532 US Dollar in 2016 to 1 932 443.5 US Dollar prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 174.64%. Romania saw a decline of 63.07% in cattle import over the past 26 years. Moreover, it has had a 0.3% CAGR over the last five years with a negligible overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 999 948.75 US Dollar from 1992 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 5 233 171 US Dollar in 1992 and record low of 11 039 US Dollar in 2004.
