Export of bananas from Australia: Raise in 2016

Compared to the year before bananas export climbed sharply by 2 185.48 percent, according to revised figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable went up greatly from 6 052 kilogram in 2015 to 138 317 kilogram previous year, in comparison to the prior year when it dropped by 86.21 percent. The overall changes for the previous 29 years reached a decrease of 78.54%. Furthermore, it has had a 0.87% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 115 009.79 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 644 596 kilogram in 1988 and record low of 697 kilogram in 2008.
