Chromium consumption in Sweden drops in 2017

According to new data published by U.S. Geological Survey, in 2017 the indicator declined by 15.38 percent. Chromium consumption decreased from 13 thousand tonnes to 11 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 13.33%. The overall changes for the prior 15 years attained a decrease of 84.72%. Likewise, it has had a decline at a 0.1% average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 57.98 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 139 thousand tonnes in 2004 and record low of 7 thousand tonnes in 2012.
