Export of cotton yarn containing 85% or more by weight of cotton from Canada: Increase in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that cotton export went up by 16.73 percent compared with the year before. It reached its 29-year peak as the variable climbed from 1 427 261 kilogram to 1 665 991 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 26.28 percent. Canada saw a raise of 3 974.72% in cotton export over the past 29 years. Furthermore, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.06 percent over the 5 years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 532 252.69 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 5 030 kilogram in 1992.
