Sunflower seed oil consumption in South Africa climbs in 2017

According to adjusted statistics presented by U.S. Department of Agriculture, the variable went up by 7.32 percent in 2017. It pinpoints the all-time high since 1972 as sunflower seed oil consumption grew by 30 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 5.13 percent. The overall changes for the previous 46 years hit a rise of 400%. Moreover, it has shown a 0.03% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall growth since the 1972. It averaged 268.2 thousand tonnes from 1972 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 80 thousand tonnes in 1974.
