Kerosene import in Japan decreases in April 2018

JODI Data announced that in April 2018 the variable greatly diminished by 67.2 percent. The indicator fell sharply by 1 982.5 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it decreased by 48.83%. In April of the year before, the variable dropped by -77.86% and reached 229.97 thousand barrels. When examining the year-on-year picture, a 320.69 percent increase can be noticed between April 2017 and April 2018. Japan saw a fall of 85.25% in kerosene import during the last 16 years. As well as the kerosene import is now lower than its average which equals 1 494.68 thousand barrels with a slight overall decrease since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 8 952.97 thousand barrels in December 2002 and record low of 31.72 thousand barrels in June 2013.
