Import of salted, dried or smoked swine hams and shoulders to Poland rises in 2017

Pork import went up by 20.93% compared with the previous year, according to data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable rose by 192 663 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 16.3 percent. It highlights the all-time maximum since 1998. Poland saw a rise of 14 021.2% in pork import during the last 20 years. Likewise, it has had a growth at a 0.31% compound annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 337 191.65 kilogram from 1998 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 6 779 kilogram in 2001.
