Import of cigars, cheroots and cigarillos, containing tobacco to Namibia falls in 2016

In 2016 the indicator fell by 17.97%, adjusted numbers from United Nations Statistical Office show. Cigars import decreased by 1 804 kilogram, compared with the prior year when it increased by 806.05%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years hit a diminution of 45.5%. Moreover, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.29% over the five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 6 718.24 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 25 056 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 1 102 kilogram in 2008.
