Export of cuttings and slips, not rooted from South Africa rises in 2017

According to updated statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office, flower export rose slightly by 0.49 percent in comparison with the prior year. Flower export hardly grew from 3 320 130 in 2016 to 3 336 312 previous year, versus the prior year when it went down by 9.52 percent. The overall changes for the previous 18 years attained a decrease of 97.22%. Compared with its average, the flower export is now smaller as the mean equals 134 855 037.22 and the indicator illustrates a slight overall drop since the 2000. It hit its all-time high of 455 178 656 in 2002 and record low of 3 308 732 in 2014.
