Export of trunks, suit-cases with outer surface of plastic sheeting or of textile materials from Sri Lanka goes up in 2017

The variable sharply grew by 108.41% in comparison with 2016, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. The indicator rose strongly from 176 406 US Dollar in 2016 to 367 643.03 US Dollar previous year, versus the prior year when it decreased by 22.7 percent. Sri Lanka saw a raise of 6 948.37% in consumer goods export over the past 28 years. Likewise, it has attained a 0.47% average annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall diminution since the 1990. It averaged 5 531 839.5 US Dollar from 1990 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 21 178 752 US Dollar in 2000 and record low of 5 216 US Dollar in 1990.
