Import of fresh or chilled fish livers and roes to Lithuania: Increase in 2017

Compared with the prior year the indicator strongly climbed by 203.2 percent, according to numbers issued by European Commission. Fish import went up sharply from 40 600 kilogram in 2016 to 123 100 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 112.57 percent. Lithuania saw a growth of 109.35% in fish import over the past 18 years. Still it has had a negative CAGR of 0.04 percent over the 5 years with a modest overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 73 494.44 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 198 000 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 2 900 kilogram in 2005.
