Import of frozen bone-in swine hams, shoulders and cuts to Macao: Rise in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that the indicator greatly went up by 30.34 percent in comparison with the prior year. Pork import climbed sharply from 901 437 US Dollar in 2015 to 1 174 941 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 4.7%. The overall changes for the previous 26 years hit a fall of 10.55%. Moreover, it has shown a drop at a 0.1% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 997 625.69 US Dollar from 1991 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 836 799 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 321 978 US Dollar in 1999.
