Import of frozen bone-in swine hams, shoulders and cuts to Macao increases in 2016

According to adjusted statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office, pork import sharply increased by 30.34 percent in comparison to one year earlier. The variable strongly rose from 901 437 US Dollar to 1 174 941 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 4.7%. The overall changes for the prior 26 years attained a drop of 10.55%. Furthermore, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.1% during the five years with a slight overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 997 625.69 US Dollar from 1991 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 836 799 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 321 978 US Dollar in 1999.
