Canadian brandy sales in Canada: Fall in 2017

According to figures released by Canada National Statistical Office, the indicator dropped hardly by 3.9% in 2017. Brandy sales fell slightly from 847 thousand liters to 814 thousand liters, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 5.57 percent. It's new all-time minimum since 2005. Canada saw a diminution of 24.91% in brandy sales over the past 13 years. Besides, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.05% over the last 5 years with a marginal overall drop since the 2005. It averaged 1 093.38 thousand liters from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 1 346 thousand liters in 2007.
