Import of parts of power transmission equipment to Zimbabwe rises in 2016

Industrial equipment import greatly rose by 79.71 percent in comparison with the previous year, adjusted statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Industrial equipment import increased sharply by 59 219 kilogram, in comparison to the prior year when it declined by 47.01 percent. Zimbabwe saw an increase of 114.46% in industrial equipment import over the past 22 years. Moreover, it has attained a 0.07% CAGR during the last five years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 69 328.05 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 277 421 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 12 771 kilogram in 2005.
