Commercial vehicles in use in Oman: Growth in 2017

According to updated data issued by OICA, compared with the previous year the indicator barely climbed by 4.35 percent. Commercial vehicles in use rose slightly from 230 thousand units to 240 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 4.55 percent. It hit its 13-year high. Oman saw a growth of 100% in commercial vehicles in use over the past 13 years. As well as it has attained a rise at a 0.04% compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 175.38 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 120 thousand units in 2006.
