Export of fresh or chilled lobsters from Pakistan declines in 2017

According to statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office, lobsters export sharply fell by 70.49 percent compared with the previous year. The indicator strongly diminished by 1 133 312.53 US Dollar, versus the prior year when it grew by 72.14 percent. Pakistan saw an increase of 1 976.75% in lobsters export over the past 15 years. However, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.04 percent during the 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 1 781 153.76 US Dollar from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 4 176 341 US Dollar in 2008 and record low of 22 845 US Dollar in 2003.
