Export of fresh or chilled lobsters from Pakistan: Decline in 2017

Lobsters export sharply decreased by 70.49 percent in 2017, according to revised data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable diminished greatly by 1 133 312.53 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it grew by 72.14 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years reached a growth of 1 976.75%. Though, it has had a drop at a 0.04% compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall decline since the 2003. It averaged 1 781 153.76 US Dollar from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 4 176 341 US Dollar in 2008 and record low of 22 845 US Dollar in 2003.
