Import of cases for gun, musical instrument, camera to New Zealand: Drop in 2017

Consumer goods import diminished by 13.94 percent in comparison with one year earlier, according to new statistics announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods import went down by 565 961.25 US Dollar, compared with the previous year when it rose by 6.7 percent. New Zealand saw an increase of 382.92% in consumer goods import during the last 29 years. However, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.06% over the 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 907 184.3 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 4 688 958 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 243 769 US Dollar in 1998.
