Import of multiple (folded) or cabled cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing more than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 714-232 decitex to Turkey increases in 2017

In 2017 the indicator rose greatly by 32.5 percent, new figures from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. It hit its 29-year high as cotton import climbed sharply from 35 852 096 US Dollar to 47 503 144 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 12.96%. Turkey saw a rise of 9 433.19% in cotton import over the past 29 years. As well as it has shown an increase at a 0.09% CAGR during the last 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the 1989. It averaged 19 054 611.76 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its minimum of 498 292 US Dollar in 1989.
