Primary petroleum products supply and demand balance in United States drops in May 2018

Primary petroleum products supply and demand balance strongly dropped by 2 138.23 percent in comparison to April, updated statistics from JODI Data show. The variable sharply fell by 122 435 thousand barrels, in comparison with the previous month when it grew by 10.24%. It highlights the all-time high since 2009. The previous year, this fluctuation reached 121.22% and the primary petroleum products supply and demand balance hit -12 499 thousand barrels in May 2017. This pinpoints a -1 033.75% shift between May 2017 and the same month the year after. The overall changes for the prior 9 years attained a growth of 6 084.9%. However, the primary petroleum products supply and demand balance is now higher than its average which equals -1 751.79 thousand barrels with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It reached its minimum of -31 976 thousand barrels in January 2016.
