Import of uncooked pasta without eggs to Philippines declines in 2017

In 2017 pasta import strongly decreased by 54.27 percent, according to figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator fell greatly by 18 124 305 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it increased by 73.72%. Philippines saw a growth of 26.15% in pasta import over the past 22 years. However, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.03 percent during the 5 years with a slight overall rise since the 1996. It averaged 17 706 662.41 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 33 393 780 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 7 374 588 kilogram in 1999.
