Naphtha export in France decreases in May 2018

Compared to the previous month the variable strongly went down by 45.02%, according to numbers issued by JODI Data. Naphtha export greatly diminished from 2 411.9 thousand barrels to 1 326.1 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it dropped by 26.95%. When examining the previous year, it can be diagnosed that the indicator was rising by 32.21 percent and attained 2 447.5 thousand barrels in May. When taking into account the year-on-year picture, a -45.82% decrease can be observed between May 2017 and May 2018. The overall changes for the previous 9 years hit a fall of 26.6%. Moreover, the naphtha export is now below average of 2 108.51 thousand barrels with a modest overall rise since the 2009. It reached its all-time high of 3 969.4 thousand barrels in February 2018 and record low of 614.1 thousand barrels in January 2010.
