Naphtha export in Russia: Raise in March 2018

According to revised numbers announced by JODI Data, compared with the prior month naphtha export grew by 26.67 percent. The indicator rose by 400 thousand tonnes, in contrast to the previous month when it went down by 40%. The data attained 400 thousand tonnes in March 2017, which is a 100% fluctuation in comparison with February of the same year. Year-on-year, this illustrates a 375% variation between March 2017 and the same month in 2018. Russia saw a growth of 6 451.72% in naphtha export over the past 4 years. As well as the naphtha export is now bigger than its average which equals 473.1 thousand tonnes with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 2 500 thousand tonnes in January 2018 and record low of 29 thousand tonnes in April 2014.
