Value of direct debit transfers in Belgium: Stagnancy in 2017

Compared to the prior year direct debit transfers value remained the same, according to numbers released by Bank for International Settlements. For the 2nd consecutive year, the direct debit transfers value was 122.4 billion US Dollars. Belgium saw a growth of 53.46% in direct debit transfers value over the past 11 years. Besides, it has attained a 0.03 percent compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 103.49 billion US Dollars from 2007 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 159.25 billion US Dollars in 2014 and record low of 73.18 billion US Dollars in 2010.
