Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Spain: Decline in 2017

According to revised numbers published by European Commission, the variable diminished by 28.89 percent in comparison to the year before. Antibiotic import decreased from 8 645 590 Euro in 2016 to 6 147 460 Euro previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 69.2%. Spain saw a drop of 54.27% in antibiotic import during the last 23 years. Likewise, it has attained a 0.13 percent compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 8 067 987.39 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 18 257 360 Euro in 1998 and record low of 1 575 370 Euro in 2000.
