Export of fresh or chilled whole halibut from Latvia rises in 2016

According to figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, the indicator went up strongly by 58.99 percent in 2016. It reveals the all-time high since 1996 as halibut export rose sharply from 3 411 kilogram to 5 423 kilogram, versus the prior year when it dropped by 33.01 percent. The overall changes for the previous 21 years hit a raise of 17 976.67%. Besides, it has had a 0.55 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 1 533.24 kilogram from 1996 to 2016 and it reached its minimum of 10 kilogram in 2008.
