Import of hulled, pearled, sliced or kibbled maize to Japan: Raise in 2017

Maize import went up by 559 837 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 3.36 percent. The overall changes for the previous 30 years reached a decrease of 21.96%. Furthermore, it has shown a 0.03% compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall drop since the 1988. It averaged 3 329 314.2 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 5 622 781 kilogram in 1989 and record low of 1 388 352 kilogram in 2003.
