Import of cargo containers designed for carriage to Armenia goes down in 2017

In 2017 railway equipment import strongly fell by 99.22%, according to new numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable diminished sharply from 25 852 to 201.81, in contrast to the prior year when it grew by 123 004.76 percent. Armenia saw a growth of 817.32% in railway equipment import during the last 18 years. Furthermore, it has attained an increase at a 0.54% average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 1 617.77 from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 25 852 in 2016 and record low of 9 in 2002.
