Stainless steel exports in United States: Diminution in 2015

Compared with the prior year chromium export negligibly dropped by 1.19%, according to adjusted statistics published by U.S. Geological Survey. The indicator decreased slightly by 10 000 metric ton, versus the previous year when it rose by 32.39 percent. United States saw an increase of 301.94% in chromium export during the last 18 years. Furthermore, it has shown a raise at a 0.06% average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall growth since the 1998. It averaged 448 277.78 metric ton from 1998 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 838 000 metric ton in 2014 and record low of 206 000 metric ton in 1998.
