Import of cartons, boxes and cases, of corrugated paper or paperboard to Sierra Leone: Decline in 2016

Consumer goods import went down slightly by 0.89 percent in 2016, refreshed statistics from United Nations Statistical Office show. Consumer goods import barely diminished from 228 348 kilogram in 2015 to 226 312 kilogram prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it grew by 59.41 percent. Sierra Leone saw a growth of 149.26% in consumer goods import over the past 17 years. Furthermore, it has shown a rise at a 0.16 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall raise since the 2000. It averaged 44 702.82 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 228 348 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 71 245 kilogram in 2002.
