Chromium consumption in Ukraine goes down in 2017

Compared to the prior year the indicator dropped by 22.22%, updated numbers from U.S. Geological Survey demonstrate. The variable declined by 2 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 18.18 percent. It reveals the all-time low since 2011. Ukraine saw a diminution of 75.55% in chromium consumption during the last 7 years. Moreover, it has shown a drop at a 0.14% compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 14.52 thousand tonnes from 2011 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 28.62 thousand tonnes in 2011.
