Sales of preserved asparagus in Poland increases in 2016

Asparagus sales sharply went up by 53.62% in 2016, according to figures presented by European Commission. It's the highest value on record since 2008 as the variable climbed greatly from 69 thousand kilograms to 106 thousand kilograms, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 200%. The overall changes for the prior 9 years reached a increase of 112%. Furthermore, it has attained a rise at a 0.66 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall growth since the 2008. It averaged 27.56 thousand kilograms from 2008 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 23 thousand kilograms in 2014.
