Export of wooden cases, boxes, crates, drums and containers from Madagascar: Drop in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that compared to the previous year the indicator greatly diminished by 92.57%. The variable dropped sharply by 4 719 US Dollar, in contrast to the prior year when it climbed by 2 006.61%. Madagascar saw a decline of 20.21% in consumer goods export over the past 27 years. Moreover, it has attained a fall at a 0.15% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 1 908.74 US Dollar from 1990 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 7 405 US Dollar in 2007 and record low of 2 US Dollar in 1991.
