Export of single cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing more than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn less than 125 decitex from Portugal: Rise in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that cotton export greatly rose by 135.95% in 2017. The variable strongly went up by 5 826.68 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 604.93%. The overall changes for the prior 30 years hit a diminution of 95.16%. Besides, it has shown a growth at a 1.55 percent CAGR over the last 5 years with a modest overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 26 779.36 US Dollar from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 209 036 US Dollar in 1988 and record low of 1 US Dollar in 2004.
