Export of waste or scrap containing gold as sole precious metal from Australia: Raise in 2016

According to revised figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the prior year the variable greatly grew by 123.6 percent. Gold export went up strongly by 16 720 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 59.4%. The overall changes for the prior 29 years attained a rise of 13 649.09%. Moreover, it has shown the CAGR of 0.39 percent over the last five years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 77 469.52 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 673 821 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 16 kilogram in 1990.
