Export of unbleached plain weave cotton containing less than 85% by weight of cotton weighing less than 200 g/m2 from Brazil: Diminution in 2017

Compared to the previous year cotton export strongly dropped by 48.34%, according to new statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable greatly went down by 22 353 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 48.59%. The overall changes for the previous 29 years attained a diminution of 99.04%. Likewise, it has shown a decline at a 0.1% CAGR over the last five years with a slight overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 577 823.45 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 7 002 690 US Dollar in 2007 and record low of 496 US Dollar in 2010.
