Chromium consumption in China rises in 2015

In comparison to the previous year the variable climbed by 15.82%, according to numbers released by U.S. Geological Survey. The indicator grew by 650 thousand tonnes, versus the prior year when it declined by 13.66%. China saw a growth of 676.51% in chromium consumption over the past 13 years. Likewise, it has attained a 0.04% CAGR over the last five years with a marginal overall increase since the 2003. It averaged 3 081.62 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 6 740 thousand tonnes in 2009 and record low of 613 thousand tonnes in 2003.
