New vehicles registrations in Uganda: Rise in 2017

OICA reported that vehicle registration rose by 8.43 percent compared with the prior year. Vehicle registration went up from 4 000 to 4 337, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 29.03%. Uganda saw a rise of 8.43% in vehicle registration during the last 13 years. However, it has attained a fall at a 0.03 percent average annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall growth since the 2005. It averaged 4 064.38 from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 5 000 in 2013 and record low of 3 100 in 2015.
