Export of cuff-links and studs of base metal from New Zealand decreases in 2017

According to statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the prior year jewellery export fell strongly by 77.99 percent. Jewellery export sharply went down by 21 381.98 US Dollar, versus the previous year when it increased by 159.69 percent. New Zealand saw a decline of 32.84% in jewellery export during the last 29 years. Furthermore, it has had a fall at a 0.15% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 9 483.59 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 31 793 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 318 US Dollar in 2003.
