Export of cotton yarn of uncombed fibres from Slovakia goes down in 2017

European Commission reported that compared to the previous year the indicator diminished barely by 3.26 percent. Cotton yarn export slightly decreased by 7 000 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 43.05%. Slovakia saw a growth of 26.65% in cotton yarn export during the last 15 years. However, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.24 percent during the last 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 572 680 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 377 500 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 164 000 kilogram in 2003.
