Import of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid) to Latvia goes up in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that hydrogen chloride import increased greatly by 44.79 percent in comparison with the prior year. Hydrogen chloride import sharply climbed by 348 354 kilogram, compared with the previous year when it declined by 10.88%. The overall changes for the prior 23 years hit a growth of 49.08%. Still it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.04 percent over the last five years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 999 783 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 1 842 689 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 469 210 kilogram in 2000.
