Import of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid) to Latvia grows in 2016

The indicator strongly rose by 44.79 percent in comparison to the prior year, according to revised numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office. Hydrogen chloride import greatly went up from 777 809 kilogram in 2015 to 1 126 163 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it diminished by 10.88%. The overall changes for the previous 23 years attained a rise of 49.08%. However, it has had a diminution at a 0.04% compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 999 783 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 1 842 689 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 469 210 kilogram in 2000.
