Industrial sand and gravel production in Israel remains unchanged in 2015

According to refreshed numbers issued by U.S. Geological Survey, silica sand production held steady compared with the prior year. The indicator was 200 thousand tonnes, for the 3rd consecutive year. The overall changes for the previous 18 years attained a decline of 22.18%. Besides, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.03% during the five years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 218.47 thousand tonnes from 1998 to 2015 and it reached its all-time high of 320 thousand tonnes in 1999 and record low of 163.21 thousand tonnes in 2009.
