Import of refractory cements, mortars, concretes and similar compositions to Cyprus: Rise in 2017

According to figures published by European Commission, in comparison with the previous year the indicator increased sharply by 50.47 percent. Building materials import grew greatly from 491 860 Euro in 2016 to 740 100 Euro prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 5.65%. The overall changes for the prior 15 years hit an increase of 102.95%. Furthermore, it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.12 percent during the last five years with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 552 745.33 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 2 341 160 Euro in 2010 and record low of 215 400 Euro in 2012.
