Export of herbicides packaged for retail sale or as preparations and articles from Latvia goes down in 2017

According to numbers presented by European Commission, herbicide export went down sharply by 73.95 percent compared with the prior year. The indicator declined strongly by 324 640 Euro, in contrast to the previous year when it grew by 98.36 percent. Latvia saw a fall of 11.8% in herbicide export over the past 17 years. Moreover, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.28 percent during the 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the 2001. It averaged 256 798.82 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 604 550 Euro in 2013 and record low of 77 670 Euro in 2012.
