Snack food manufacturing salaries and wages in Canada increases in 2016

According to new numbers announced by Canada National Statistical Office, in comparison with the same time an year ago snack food salaries and wages grew sharply by 38.5%. The indicator went up strongly from 182 239 thousand Canadian Dollars in 2015 to 252 398 thousand Canadian Dollars prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 12.36%. The overall changes for the prior 13 years hit a fall of 1.1%. Moreover, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.05 percent over the last five years with a negligible overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 262 601.38 thousand Canadian Dollars from 2004 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 332 122 thousand Canadian Dollars in 2012 and record low of 162 198 thousand Canadian Dollars in 2014.
